Kim Clement Drops a Small Nuke on the USA

In 2007, a charismatic “prophet” named Kim Clement began prophesying about a wealthy playboy named Donald Trump. He knew of Trump, of course, because by 2003, Trump was already a star on the show Access Hollywood. He was a catch for an interview--attractive, rich, married to a series of gorgeous women. His latest was Melania in 2005. By 2006, she had delivered a son named Barron. There were articles depicting their gold-studded family life. Trump owned casinos and hotels and golf resorts, and he loved to opine about politics in telephone interviews with other celebrities. He was a fast talker in those days with a silky voice. Plenty of female interviewers swooned to get him on their shows. Since he bore no actual political responsibility, he could express himself freely with no negative consequences. In 2007, Trump looked on the surface like a giant personality striding across the globe with grace and confidence. This TV Trump is the image that influential Evangelical leaders fell in love with. The question is, why? What did they think at that point that playboy Trump would do for them?

But let’s peek behind the scenes. And this is just a small part of the Trump pre-inauguration story. I’m not a professional journalist or historian. This was harvested off the internet.

1987:  Trump and Ivana travel to Russia, are treated like VIPs, and a conversation begins regarding a Trump hotel in Moscow. It never happened, so this event probably made news for five minutes, then dropped off the radar.

2003:  Trump is very crude as a participant/producer on the Access Hollywood show. Insiders say he made racist remarks, used drugs, wore Depends, and would sometimes soil himself. No one would peep about any of this for years. After all, Trump was a money magnet.

2004:  Trump Hotel and Casino Resorts declare ch 11. That included his 3 casinos.

2005:  He marries his third wife. Images of happy home life appear in the press.

Trump University is established. It begins under a cloud for not being an actual university and for lacking a NYSED license. In 2017, while he was president of the U.S., it was declared to be a scam and Trump had to pay $25 million dollars in recompense. What is so amazing about Trump and his scandals, they come rolling in so fast and furious, that this one barely lasted a day in the news. The GOP didn’t even blink over it.

2006:  Shortly after the birth of Barron, Trump has two affairs. One is with porn star Stormy Daniels, and the other is with Playboy star Karen McDougal. Of course, everyone in Trumpworld signs NDAs, so TV fans would know nothing of any of this until 2017.

There were allegations in 1997, 2000, 2001, and 2006 that he would walk in on the young women dressing for their appearance in the Miss Universe contest of which Trump was the owner.

There is also evidence that Russia was using real estate deals to launder money to Trump and his family. Great journalists have written books to record all of Trump’s shenanigans and unsavory friends (Russian mafia, corrupt lobbyists, pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, Vladimir Putin), so I won’t describe them all here. I’m mainly trying to bring things up to 2007, when Kim Clement, the great prophet, declared that this was God's word:

“This that shall take place shall be the most unusual thing. A transformation, a going into the marketplace, into the news media, for Time Magazine will have no choice but to say what I want them to say, Newsweek what I want them to say, The View what I want them to say. Trump shall become a trumpet, says the Lord. Trump shall become a trumpet. I will raise up Trump to become the trumpet and Bill Gates to open up the gates for the financial realm, says the Lord.” 

[At that point, a picture of Trump on the cover of Time appears on the screen. But wait, there’s more.]

“I will not forget 9/11, and I will not forget what took place that day, and I will not forget the gatekeeper that watched over New York, who will once again stand and watch over this nation, says the Spirit of God.” 

[Rudy Giuliani was mayor of NY in 9/11. Interesting that he becomes Trump’s post-Cohen fixer/private attorney in Trump’s dodgy shadow government operations. Giuliani had a lot of respect in 9/11 era. Now he’s just another pathetic clown in the Trump circus. I honestly have to stand back and marvel at the confidence with which Clement announced all this as early as 2007. Perhaps he thought Trump would run and be elected in 2012.]

“It shall come to pass that the man that I shall place in the highest office shall go in whispering my name. But God said, when he enters into the office, he will be shouting out by the power of the Spirit. For I shall fill him with my Spirit when he goes into office, and there will be a praying man in the highest seat in your land.”

The next paragraph says that Trump will be a praying man, that he will bring a wall of protection down around the US, and that he will serve 2 terms. He won’t be a praying president when he starts, but God will baptize him with the Holy Spirit after he is inaugurated. Pictures of Trump in the WH surrounded by praying people can be found, but you don't see Trump praying. He is creating a photo-op of prayer in the White House.

A word of instruction on prophecy:

In the Old Testament (OT)/Hebrew Bible (HB), there are fortune tellers and prophets, and they are different. Because nations were all theocracies/monarchies in those days, of course prophecy was extremely political. Kings went to war or surrendered cities on the word of a diviner, so that person had to be accurate. If they led the nation astray, it was similar to treason, and they could be put to death. Ancient Israel had the same divide between progressive spirits and conservative institutionalists that we have today. In the marketplace, conservatives and liberals argued over how to express their faith, but kings and emperors would build temples, take slaves, or release prisoners on the word of a prophet. The kings didn’t always pick the right voice to listen to, but a certain school of prophetic priests and prophets got their point across by writing a book about how God spoke to them. We call it the Old Testament. The response to prophecy and theology explains all of Israel’s pre-Christian history. 

Prophecy still exists today. I believe in it, and I’ve had my own prophetic experiences, although I’m no prophetess. It used to be in the charismatic world that Republicans and Dems worshiped together because politics wasn’t an issue. Prophecy was for the edification of the church and the individual. It would take pages to explain what changed. I’ve had to leave and the Evangelical/charismatic world because the politics and anti-education and anti-science culture just repels me today.

Clement’s prophecy above threw up a banner to the Evangelical community. They already leaned right, revering Reagan and the Bushes, and hating all things left. When Clement does his prophetic show, he has the artsy demeanor, the silken voice, the dramatic flair, and the supportive band to cause the very heavens to open. God’s voice seems to roll through the auditorium and people cheer with delight. However, God does not necessarily speak through such contrivances. There are several things a prophet cannot do:

God can bring to pass events that are improbable at the time of the prophecy, but the prophet can’t say the sky is green when you look up and clearly and see that it’s blue or gray. All prophecy is subject to testing.

• They cannot suggest that a holy end justifies corrupt means.
• They cannot tolerate or encourage a mix of gods or values. God will not share his altar with Baal. Spiritual Babylon is the enemy of spiritual Zion.
• They cannot go beyond the Scriptures. Jesus said that his kingdom is not of this world. They have no authority to declare that his kingdom should take over “The Seven Mountains of Influence,” (families, church, education, business, government, media, and arts and entertainment. Concept by Bill Bright and Loren Cunningham.) This is called Dominionism, and is associated with a nationalist movement of billionaire libertarians who want to capture the Evangelical vote in order to maintain power and influence in the U.S. government. The separation of church and state is constitutional. It's there for good reason, but Dominionists want to change that and make their brand of conservative Christianity the dominant faith in American politics.
• Mixing the sanctity of prophecy with a desire for wealth, power, and fame can put a prophet’s very soul in jeopardy. No OT or NT prophet did such a thing. The one that did, in the book of Jeremiah, was cursed with leprosy. A couple that lied to the apostle Peter in the NT about a financial matter dropped dead at his feet for lying to the Holy Spirit.

I can’t begin to describe the respect that Kim Clement had in the charismatic community. He has thousands of followers and represents millions of trusting Christians. He influenced other “prophets.” 

However, there were many clues along the way that there was something horrifyingly nasty about Donald Trump. Insiders knew what he was, but the sweet trusting world of everyday Christians thought he must be a new King David. Would Trump change? Was he really a new baby Christian as prophetess Kat Kerr claimed? Would he learn to be presidential as many elected Republicans hoped? Would God send great counselors who would guide him to express the better angel of his nature as Trump's Evangelical round table predicted? 

He showed us who he was when he was campaigning, but somehow the Evangelical god didn’t notice. Didn’t know about the money laundering, the affairs, the lies and manipulation, the mistress payoffs, the narcissism, the fact that he was not likely to ever allow a peaceful transfer of power if he lost? Clement may not have known about these things, but a genuine deity surely would. But Clement’s god didn’t seem to mind any of it. It took me years to admit to myself that the man was a phony circus barker. He’s good. Really good at playing prophet. Maybe he thinks he is one, maybe not, but it gets worse. 2011, 2014 were the years that won Trump the presidency.

I am not close to done with this topic. Things were quiet until 2011 when another supernatural word set the Evangelical world on fire. That will be the topic of my next letter. When Trump won in 2016, against all expectations, heads exploded. How did he predict that? Surely, they said, it must be God. Stay tuned.
