Sabbath Keeping, Saturday or Sunday?

Image
All Scriptures are copied from biblehub.com, Berean Standard Bible. I have a friend who is stuck on the Sabbath question. She’s not content with the Apostle Paul’s admonition in Colossians 2:16, 17: Therefore let no one judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a feast, a New Moon, or a Sabbath. These are but a shadow of the things to come, but the body that casts it belongs to Christ. After all, as she points out, the Ten Commandments were inscribed on tablets by the finger of God, but it was a committee of bishops, presbyters, and Apostles who changed the day of worship to Sunday. My Seventh Day Adventist neighbor would totally agree with that. The reason for the change was that by mid-first century, the fur was flying in the Jerusalem megachurch between those who wanted to keep all of the Jewish laws and those like Paul who felt that Christ came to fulfill, complete, satisfy ( telios ) the era of the law and release the emerging church into the era of His grace.
