Claudia King's Story of Deliverance

Image
A note from Janet:   I have never met Claudia King, but have spoken with her on the phone and communicated by email. She is the real deal, and this story is not exaggerated. The narrative below was authored by Claudia and sent to me by email. She was recommended to me by a fellow that I met in church in Citrus Heights, Rick Defer , who has his own miracle story to share. The story below was sent to me by Claudia. Eph. 6:2:   For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but we fight against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those mighty powers of darkness who rule this world, and against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms. The mobster's daughter This passage refers to all Christians, yet you will only meet a handful of Christians that have actually experienced the demonic realm . I am one of those people. I will present my story as honestly and as transparently as I can. I have no agenda in sharing my story with you- other than

God’s Giant Hands: The Near Death Experience of Rick Defer

Introductory statement This story was written by a remarkable Spirit-filled woman named Kaitee Lusk, who interviewed former firefighter Rick Defer and wrote the story in his own words. I’ve never met her in person, but I did correspond with her. It was Rick that told me about her. When I met him at church one day in Citrus Heights in 2007, he told me a bit about his accident and showed several of us the scars from where he was electrocuted at work in 1980. There was a clear dent in his chest, and his hands still bore the scars of that unfortunate day. He also told me Kaitee’s amazing story, so I contacted her by email and she sent me the written narrative below as well as a written account of receiving a call from God to go to the Philippines and contact President Ferdinand Marcos in order to relay a divine answer to his private prayer. You can find Kaitee’s astonishing story here . I’ve done a bit of light editing on grammar points and shortened the story to fit the blog. It’s s

The Doctrine of Inerrancy vs Common Sense

Some time ago a friend recommended a book called Making Sense of the Bible: Rediscovering the Power of Scripture Today, 2014, by Adam Hamilton. It sounded intriguing, so I ordered it, read it, and was amazed. The author is a United Methodist pastor, a founder of Church of the Resurrection in Kansas City. The jacket blurb states, “The church is well known for connecting with agnostics, skeptics, and spiritual seekers. In 2012, it was recognized as the most influential mainline church in America, and Hamilton was asked by the White House to deliver the sermon at the inaugural Obama prayer service.” His church has 18,000 members, and no wonder! Hamilton is still pastor there as of today (2023). Part 1 is the stuff one learns in seminary: who wrote the Old and New Testaments? When were they written? Which books made it into the Bible, and why were other books rejected? He writes extensively about the Bible authors, Paul, Matthew, Luke, Mark, John, Peter, and Jude. We could call these ch

The Battle for MUFON, Part 4, The Resignations and Firings

This information is taken largely from interviews recently conducted on Jerry Pippen’s  www.ufoshows2go/mufon_under_seige.htm . “We looked around and the bodies were lying everywhere. We looked at each other and said, Well I’ll be damned.” And so, the troupe of newly and summarily fired started a group called The Committee to Reform Mufon. (From Elaine Douglass, founder of the group) In the early months of 2011 a surprising number of MUFON State Directors, Field Investigators, and Assistant State Directors were either dismissed, urged to resign, or resigned in protest. Two of the biggest names, Ken Cherry (former State Director of TX) and James Carrion (former International Director), had already left. Several members left with Cherry, but once they were gone, things stabilized. For a while. Then the investigations began, but they didn’t follow the kind of logic that would leave a sense of closure. Trump Prophet Tomi Arayomi

False Prophets I watched Sid Roth’s It’s Supernatural on Monday (Feb. 21, 2022) and was introduced to a trumpy prophet named Tomi Arayomi, a British citizen, a twin, reportedly a member of a family of professionals. Assessing first impressions, he is Black, middle-aged, good looking, has a pleasant voice, is calm and smooth in delivery, and demonstrates the gravitas of a confident man. He described the visionary call for him and his brother to preach, which if true, sounds credible. The day that an audible voice saved him and his family from a deadly freeway crash was not improbable. So, for a while, as I listened, I had no great objection to anything he said. In fact, it was pretty impressive. Then he dropped the bomb, and I almost fell out of my chair. Before I get into his message, let’s review some pointers about recognizing false prophecy: Prophecy is meant to be judged, (Deut. 13:1–5; 1 Cor. 14:29; 1 John 4:1). In the Old Testament, punishment was severe for false prophe
