A Study on Angels, Demons, and Aliens

I recently read The Andreassen Legacy. It was so stimulating that I am desiring to share some thoughts about it.

Raymond Fowler writes that contactee Betty Andreassen Lucas believes that all little gray aliens and the Elders are angels, that The One is God, his ‘son’ is Jesus, and the alien agenda is to save the human race because the planet is dying. Fowler seems to think, if I understand him correctly, that the entities are not angels, but that they are what we have always thought were angels. There never were any angels. He still believes in Jesus somehow, but now he has to weigh new UFO teachings versus traditional Bible doctrines, like reincarnation versus the assurance of heaven and hell that Jesus taught on earth. The abductions, the horrible surgeries, implants, the mutilation of the eyelids of newborn hybrids, the frightening visitations of little grays peering at children through second story windows, the cattle mutilations, the rape of men and women, the theft of fetuses, etc. are all part of One’s agenda to save the ‘form of man’ because the earth is dying and mankind is becoming sterile.

We have several clues, both in the Bible and in Fowler’s book as to who The One really is and what he wants. Jesus very clearly tells us that are two kingdoms out there. One kingdom is ruled by the Father, Who abides in a place or a dimensional space that we call heaven, and Whom Jesus never actually names. The other, more manifest kingdom, is ruled by another ‘father,’ which is the devil. Jesus and the Scriptures tell us quite a few things about this guy.

1) He is a deceiver. (John 8:44)

2) He is a destroyer. (John 8:44)

3) According to OT/HB lore, he fell from heaven long ago, like a star falling from the sky, and Jesus was there to see it. This was after the creation of the world, which caused all the ‘sons of God’ to shout for joy, and it was before the fall of man because Satan was there in the garden to tempt Adam and Eve. If you can’t accept that Adam and Eve were historical people, you can extrapolate the meaning to show that spirits have always interacted with hominids from the time that they became sufficiently sentient to be modern humans. (Luke 10:18)

(4) When Satan fell he took many angels with him. (Rev 12:4)

(5) Although being inter-dimensional entities, they were tempted by human beauty and sexuality, by earthly gold and glory. Rather than protecting and guiding the particular city-state or nation to which they were consecrated, they ‘left their first estate’ and allowed themselves to be worshiped as gods. They chose whichever women they desired, siring hybrid children called ‘nephilim,’ Hebrew for ‘fallen ones.’ (Gen 6:1–4; Jude 1:6)

6) The devil loves religion, especially amoral, ritual, and sacrificial religion, but his disciples become ‘children of hell.’ The leaders wear elaborate priestly robes to solicit awe, but inside they are like whitewashed graves. I don’t mean this to sound anti-semitic. Jesus said that salvation was of the Jews, but He took exception to the empty rituals of the halakah, an oral and elaborate set of rules for everyday life, which didn’t change the soul. Any religion or cult can make the same mistake, and in fact, the Christian religion has fallen into the same trap. (Matt 23:13–36)

7) Satan is the accuser of the brethren, standing before God and accusing them night and day. (Job 1:9–11; Rev 12:10)

8) He has power to destroy the soul, and we should literally fear that power. (Matt 10:28)

9) His demons can possess us and cause us to think and do things that are disgusting and destructive to ourselves and others. (Luke 8:29)

10) If he can’t possess us, under certain circumstances he can make us sick and ruin our lives. (Luke 13:16)

11) Sometimes his grip on us is so tight, that only true servants of God who fast and pray can chase him out of a body. But if that body does not consecrate itself to God, the devils can come back, more than before, causing the person to be worse off than before their deliverance. (Matt 12:45; Matt 17:21)

12) He is not as strong as God, Jesus, and true angels, but even true angels will not tackle demons without God as their source. (Zech 3:2; Luke 10:17)

13) Satan’s human victims will be cast into outer darkness at their death. Some will burn in everlasting fire and regret. Satan’s ultimate fate is a lake of fire. (Isa 66:24; Mark 9:43–48)

14) Inspired by devils, or the same forces that caused angels to fall, many will claim that they are Jesus, but their schemes will all lead to destruction. The road to destruction can seem right. (Matt 24:5)

15) Satan can change himself into a messenger of light. The reason he has that power is that he used to be an angel. He still has angelic essence and powers (technology?), but his character is completely corrupted. (2 Cor 11:14)

16) He offered Jesus all the kingdoms of this world because he is the god of this world. He is not flesh and blood, but is a ‘power and principality,’ the ‘prince of the power of the air.’ (Eph 2:2)

Some more observations about events in the book:

When a black hooded thing tries to enter your body and then you feel pressure on your chest, this is not, not, not good news. It is time for a Christian to call on Jesus for all he is worth.

When the only person in the book (a teenager) to thwart an abduction does so by calling the name, “Jesus, Jesus,” we should grab a clue. I had a friend once who got her house haunted because she experimented with seances. It surprised and frightened her, so I told her to go around the house and kick the demons out in the name of Jesus. She wasn’t really a believer yet, but I assured her that I had enough faith for both of us. She did and it worked. She gave up all ‘hocus-pocus’ and gave her life to Christ.

How can Entities save the form of man when they have been trying for thousands of years to change their own form without success? And who is really sterile, them or us? Perhaps sterilization is nature’s way of righting things that are out of control. After all, in just a few thousand years, mankind has filled and polluted the earth. Even with all of our efforts to develop safe birth control methods, we can’t control population growth. It seems to me that mankind is far from sterile.

Their surgeries are really pathetic. I personally know Christians who have been miraculously healed of back problems, club feet, cancer, cystic fibrosis, Bell’s Syndrome, torn ligaments, and many other ailments without a scratch or a scar. Aliens can’t even stick an implant up your nose without you screaming in pain, and getting a nosebleed and a headache.

Angels don’t produce nightmares, scare little children, haunt houses, steal fetuses (which they mutilate at birth), do their deeds in darkness on lonely roads so it will be secret, shoot Air Force jets out of the sky, seduce children into sexual reproduction without the permission of their parents, slice and dice their client charges, steal and mutilate cattle, etc. Anyone who thinks that the true God and His pure and compassionate, Holy Son would be a part of what I read in that book really needs some kind of help.

Raymond Fowler and Betty and Bob Lucas are perfect, unwitting Judas goats. The fact that they are sincere and nice and Christians is for starters a big plus for alien PR. Fowler is associated with Christianity, the Air Force, and the UFO community, all groups that this Entity would like to influence. Fowler is a good researcher, respected in his career. His book was extremely enlightening. It took courage to be so revealing, which I respect.

But, he has indeed been chosen—and not by God. Not for God’s work. His father, although a nice man with many admirable qualities, brought a lot of this abduction business into his family due to his association with the Freemasons, spiritualists, Rosicrucians, and other cults. These are occult organizations with a veneer of community social service. There are many activities that open the door to strange entities, even if the person who is involved in them doesn’t know what they are doing. These entities can’t completely possess us until they can convince us that we should want them to. Somewhere along the line, we say, ‘OK, take me,’ and they do. If we are nice, normal people who believe in goodness, they certainly will not show up with a pitchfork and a red tail.

Do inter-dimensional beings pretend to be God when they are not? Remember how Jesus claimed that He saw Satan fall from heaven as a star? Old Testament scholar Susan Ackerman shares an ancient story about the Canaanite goddess Astarte (in Under Every Green Tree, p. 24) which says that she wandered around and found a star that had fallen from the sky. She consecrated it to the Phoenician city of Tyre (made it the ruling ‘prince’ or ‘cherub’ of that Palestinian city).

The OT/HB prophet Ezekiel addresses both the king of Tyre and that ruling prince in Ezekiel 28. The king thought that he himself was a god. He was being manipulated by a ruling entity who had been cast from the mountain of God because that former angel forgot who he was and became corrupted in his own beauty. In Isaiah 14 the human king and angelic ‘prince’ of Babylon have made the same mistake, thinking they could make himself to be gods.

Fowler and Betty need to spend some time watching the TV show It’s a Miracle or reading Guideposts Magazine and Angels Magazine to understand that there are, indeed, real angels who behave with the utmost integrity and decorum.

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus told us how to pray to the Father. In that prayer, he said, “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” The actual Greek says, deliver us from the evil, or, another perfectly correct translation would be, deliver us from the Evil One. The word ‘One’ is implied. After reading Fowler’s book, I gained a new appreciation for that prayer.
