The Wedding Dream - It's Over, Donald

I have been blogging about the dreams of other Christian ministers, and I've been pretty harsh about them. I also have prophetic dreams about presidents, but mine contain a very different message. 

THE WEDDING DREAM – IT’S OVER

 I had a dream on April 21, 2017 during a nap. I was on a campus similar to a school. I walked along an outside walkway, just outside the gymnasium, and noted debris here and there which included some picked flowers. Soon a woman came up to me and said, “The wedding is over.” I answered, “What wedding?” She said, “Look, the bouquet.” I looked down and realized that someone had stomped along this sidewalk and had thrown away wedding mementos. The wedding bouquet on the ground represented someone who had utterly called off a marriage. The remnants of the ceremony were in the school gym.

One of the things on the ground was a long Halloween decoration. I said, “The wedding was to be in October.” It was a paper chain, like we used to make with dolls where you fold paper and snip with scissors and then unfold and all the paper dollies are connected. I picked up the decoration and folded it all up because I thought, although it was a little bent, someone else might be able to use it, but I was shocked to see that in this case, the connected objects were pigs’ heads! On the back of each one was a message of endearment, like, good luck, best wishes, etc. That was so harsh! The first time I journaled about the dream, I couldn't add such an incomprehensible detail. Surely God Almighty wouldn't call people pigs.

I believe that the bride is America, the groom was Donald Trump, and the wedding was the 2020 presidential election. The mention of October refers to the fact that threatened incumbent presidents like to pull off an "October surprise" to push their votes over the top in November. Apparently this October surprise didn't work. The bride to be was so done with the whole affair, she didn’t even save these endearing messages from friends. This was a deal that would not be put back together. It was over.

 Here's my interpretation: The school setting represents that a major lesson is being transmitted here. Perhaps the pigs are the whole “rotten-to-the-core” GOP that rejoiced in his nastiness until America rejected it. Today, I think the piggy head paper chain is appropriate considering the amoral people that have enabled Trump, promoted him, and defended his crimes. It may also refer to what we used to refer to as “pork” in politics…the use of the levers of power to advance the agendas of pals, family members, or major donors.

So three Octobers came and went since the dream and nothing seemed to fit. October 2019 found President Trump in the middle of an impeachment proceeding which threatened to drag down his corrupt Attorney General, William Barr, his Sec of State Mike Pompeo, and His Holiness VP Mike Pence. As expected, the House convicted Trump, but the GOP dominated Senate wouldn't even hold a trial. They just acquitted him with no testimony or process. The MAGA crowd still loved Trump and still believed crazy QAnon conspiracies about Democrats hiding a pedophile ring.

However, by mid-October,2020, this dream had already come to pass in too many ways to catalogue without writing a book. Whole books are being written/will be written about it, but Joe Biden was ahead in every poll except FL, where he and Trump were almost tied. Trump and his campaign and surrogates had offended and insulted just about every voter block in the US, including the military. He reportedly called our fallen soldiers “suckers and losers.” Former friends and insiders were denouncing Trump. Science journals that never endorsed a president before endorsed Biden. The daughters of Kellyanne Conway and Rudy Giuliani publicly endorsed Biden, as did Trump's niece, who wrote an entire book about their dysfunctional family life. Large professional groups wrote letters calling for William Barr to resign. And in spite of multiple insidious Republican schemes to suppress and discourage voting, people voted early, standing in line for hours, risking the Covid virus, to make sure their voice was heard.

Meanwhile, QAnon claimed that Obama had Seal Team 6 killed to cover up the fact that Osama Bin Laden is still alive and the raid was staged.

The Trump campaign had two “October Surprises” at the ready, both of which fizzled out. One was the Durham report, which was supposed to supply US Attorney General William Barr with the evidence needed to put Obama, Hillary, and Comey in prison. Trump was living in a fantasy world where the total crushing of his opponents was imminent, but Barr, as corrupt as he is, knew it wouldn’t stick, so he blew it off saying that there was no time to wade into such an investigation. Meaghan Ellis, Raw Story, Nov 3, 2020:  “After an 18-month probe into the origins of the Russian investigation President Donald Trump dubbed ‘Obamagate,’ top prosecutors are admitting that there is ‘no evidence’ to support the president’s conspiracy theory.”

A New York Magazine report highlighting the accounts of anonymous sources “familiar with the probe” have confirmed that John Durham, the U.S. Attorney for Connecticut who was assigned to the case by U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr, has come up short in his report on the so-called Russian investigation. Durham refused to release the report before the election, and afterwards dropped it altogether. A grumpy Trump began threatening William Barr, a man who threw away what was left of his integrity to serve his fellow monster. Should Trump win the election, Barr will join a multitude of other former administration officials under the bus when he is replaced with a more compliant AG.

The other “surprise” was the so called Biden report, which would cast Hunter Biden in a roll of corrupt son of the president by messing with Ukraine politics for his own gain. That “report” was so badly done, it was debunked soundly right away. It would also never stick. But in Trump’s fevered mind, it was real and needed to be acted upon.

And so, Donald J. Trump lost the election…by about seven million votes. Every swing state in which the GOP placed their hopes certified for Biden, but not before Trump put illegal pressure directly on election officials and Republican lawmakers to not certify or to contest the results and simply appoint Trump-friendly electors. Right Wing media, following Trump’s lead, convinced a majority of Republican voters that the election was rigged. They will have a difficult time accepting the new president.

At this point, on the eve of the Thanksgiving holiday 2020 (which will be a lonely one for many families due to Covid), government officials hold their breath. How much damage will Trump and his cabinet surrogates do on their way out? Cult leaders tend to burn down a house they cannot rule. Trump has already pulled the US out of a 1992 surveillance treaty with thirty-three other nations. The Open Skies Treaty was written to allow enough transparency to forestall a war due to a misunderstanding or misinterpretation of intelligence. It also is a bulwark against ambushes. The treaty requires specialized planes equipped with expensive spyware and trained pilots and experts to accomplish that mission. The Trump administration, without consulting Congress, not only ended our participation in the treaty, they are destroying the two planes that fly the missions. This is similar to Louis DeJoy ordering the mail sorters of the USPS to be permanently dismantled. Where would Trump get the idea to do such a thing? Maybe he had one of those calls from Vladimir Putin, you know, the ones where there are no transcripts. Or if there was a transcript, they often get classified to such a high degree that they get stored in our deepest intelligence files. Where they don’t belong.

And it’s not even December yet.
