A New Look at an Old Kim Clement Prophecy

This is an update of an update, a repeat of a former post
about Kim Clement, a revered so-called prophet of the New Apostolic
Reformation, a pro-Trump, RW, dominionist religious movement. This post is
really about false prophets in general, because Clement’s error has been
repeated by a large cabal of networking “prophets” with untold thousands of
followers, all praising Donald Trump to the heavens as a David and a “man after
God’s heart.” I invite you to read what Clement said about Trump and compare
that to my remarks reflecting actual historical facts, which will be in
brackets.
I’m writing today from a much later historical perspective, which only serves to strengthen my point. The more time goes by, the deeper we get into the years of Trump governance, the more ridiculous Clement's prophecy becomes.
By the way, I occasionally have prophetic dreams. Below is one of them.
My March 24, 2020 dream
On Mar 19, 2020, I woke up with the usual flotsam and
forgettable riffraff in my dreams. One thing stood out. “An atomic bomb went
off.” I didn’t think too much about it, kept it to myself, but I thought, I’ll
just turn on the TV and assure myself that the phrase was just part of the
wake-up process. I figured that if it was from God, something would occur that
would help clarify things.
Later my husband Ted turned on a Godzilla movie. It began with real footage of nuclear bombs going off. Eventually we learn that the testing of bombs and the resulting radiation turned an iguana into a giant, bus-munching monster who swims off to destroy Manhattan. The monster left a legacy of gooey eggs in Madison Square that hatch and threaten mankind. Of course they were all destroyed in the end. I wondered if there was some event on that particular day that awoke the Donald — something akin to a nuclear bomb going off? Something we can point to that unleashed a destructive monster onto the world?
Later in the evening, I found myself studying a particular prophecy from Feb 2014 in which Kim Clement, (now deceased) a charming South African prognosticator, called Hillary Clinton a witch. I was sufficiently fascinated and horrified to transcribe the whole seventeen-minute clip for a blog post.
Clement is smooth as oiled glass in his delivery. Right voice, right look, right gestures, compelling Bible stories, perfect lighting, music, and presentation, audience, and great prophetic phraseology. It’s all quite seductive. It has one flaw. It’s totally wrong.

“The Spirit of God says, ‘My people have cried, my people
have cried out for an answer, and this is what I have to say,’ says the spirit
of Elijah [Elijah channeling through Kim Clement?]. ‘A veil has been
placed upon this nation, and I did it! [the Obama administration, of course].
I did it so that for a season my people would wonder and faith would increase,
for in darkness [a Democratic administration is a reign of darkness]
faith grows. In despair, faith grows. I did it! But now my fury has ended. Hear
me! For I have found a man after my own heart. I have found a man after my own
heart, and he is among you. He is one of the brothers that is singled out for
the presidency of the United States of America.’"
Meanwhile, rumors and evidence were surfacing that Trump had
a strong Russia connection, that Russia was spreading disinformation to help
him win, that Paul Manafort was a Russian asset, and that two of his allies
were working on a deal for a Trump Tower in Moscow while Trump was denying all
business connections with Russia. Yes, it was mostly smoke at the time, but
there was a lot of it, and there wasn’t even a spark of evidence that Hillary
was a witch. Can you imagine Clement standing before the throne of God when he
finally passed over if Trump wasn’t a David and Hillary wasn’t a witch and
Clement wasn’t channeling Elijah?? That’s when you might see a divine mushroom
cloud.]
[Woe brought to the USA by the evil Democrats. These pictures are taken out of the Old Testament book of Lamentations after the fall of Jerusalem to the Babylonians.]
“The valuable pots of Zion, valued as fine gold, are now considered as clay pots. Those who ate delicacies are now desolate in the streets, [Democrats demolished the economy, people are dying in the streets?] and those who were brought up in royal scarlet now embrace ash heaps. Is this what I wanted? My people were brighter than snow, whiter than milk. They were like sapphire in their appearance, and now they are stricken for lack of fruits in the field. The hands of compassionate women have cooked their own children, and the children have become food for them. Your children have become food for those who were once compassionate women. But my justice is fulfilled, says the Lord.'"
[He is speaking metaphorically, I presume. Eight years of Obama the Ogre brought all this devastating loss, mothers eating their babies, and suffering on God's people? So, the Christians were robbed of their prosperity because the economy collapsed during a Democrat administration? But it didn't. Folks, if anybody starves in America, it's because a Republican administration gutted their food stamps, social security, and health insurance! Neither Elijah nor God said any of this.]
“'And I have now kindled a fire in Zion. I have kindled a fire in Zion, in America, and in nations throughout the earth, and my fist is about to smack down on Russia.'”
[Well, it hasn’t happened yet, but if it does, it won’t be America. It will be Ukraine. Trump won’t say a bad word about Russia, and he fired anyone who did. Why did he hate war hero John McCain? Because McCain hated Putin. Trump is on record as hoping that Putin will be his ‘new best friend.’ God’s man is Russia’s puppet as early as his first term, but ‘god’ doesn’t seem to mind.]
“For out of the rebellion, out of the rebellion of the Ukraine, which was seized by my prophet (Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine? The guy that Trump humiliated in front of the entire world in an Oval Office meeting?), shall come out of those ashes beauty, shall come out of that sadness joy, shall come out of those garments praise,’ says the Lord. [Wording reminiscent of the prophet Isaiah.]
[Clement seems to be in favor of Ukraine’s rebellion against Russia. There was delirious joy when anti-corruption President Zelensky was elected. Then Trump turned it political by withholding weapons in a quid pro quo trade. Needed weapons for an investigation or even an announcement of an investigation of Joe and Hunter Biden. Joe was the front-running candidate for the upcoming 2020 election. Clement never dealt with that event, which resulted in Trump’s first impeachment. So, Elijah and God are pro-freedom for Ukraine and anti-Putin, but Clement’s divine entities don’t seem to mind that Trump tried to thwart Ukraine and continued to support Putin’s policies. Leaders on the Right have ignored all this. Meanwhile, today in 2026, Russia is attacking Ukraine with bombs and missiles, turning beautiful cities into ashes and sites of mourning. And Russia is getting hammered back.]
“I have searched for a man and a woman who would stand in the Oval Office and pray and call for the restoration of the fortunes of Zion. I have looked for a man who would pray for the restoration of the fortunes of Zion.’”
[Trump will pray for anything that has fortune in the name. And can you imagine I-don’t-care-do-you Melania, the former porn star, praying for anything? What we got in Trump was a man who would restore or bolster the fortunes of the already wealthy. As for Ukraine, Trump would love to gift the whole nation to Russia.]
“‘Therefore as you hear my heart,’ says the Lord today, ‘I will take you on a journey. I will first take you to Jerusalem, whom they would give to his enemies. Why would they give half of Jerusalem away? This will not happen,’ says the Lord. ‘But I will take you on a journey today into Jerusalem where it shall be prophesized (sic) by my prophet [Kim Clement] what the Lord is doing in Jerusalem and in the United States of America at the same time,’ says the Lord. ‘I am restoring the fortunes of Zion. [If you want to capture the attention of a conservative, use the word “fortune.”] I am restoring the fortunes that were the inheritance of my people. I am restoring the fortunes of the elect of God and has been stolen from them. You will eat your delicacies again [while the Palestinians starve right under our noses] and your children will no longer be your food and shall not use them and take them out of the womb anymore,’ says the Lord.”
[A nice anti-abortion dig there. But in 2019, we’ll grab children from the arms of their parents and put them in cages with only a mattress on a cement floor on which to sleep. We’ll take away their stuffed bunnies, strip them away from their parents, not record where they go, then deport the parents without the kids. They are lucky the ground does not open and swallow them.]
“‘Watch how I change everything,’ says the Lord. [In the video, Clement appears to be hearing a new word from God.] “I’m just hearing this now. ‘In the highest court in the land, in the highest court in the land, in the Supreme Court, two shall step down for the embarrassment of what shall take place.’”
[Conservative Justice Anthony Kennedy, an elderly judge, skirted a Deutsche Bank scandal involving his son. By resigning earlier than he planned, Kennedy got his son a plum position in the White House. Anthony Scalia, another RWer, and Left-leaning Ruth Bader Ginsburg died while in office. The ones who should resign due to corruption will never do so. They are not embarrassed by their corruption, and no Republican wants to enforce it.]
“’But I wish to replace in the highest court in the land righteousness. And they [Who they? The enemy, of course, but don’t name the Democrats, because it might sound partisan.] shall attempt to place others in order to reach their endeavors.’”
[Is Clement anticipating that the Left will try to expand the court? Notice the Left is full of Deep State shenanigans, but the Right would never appoint a judge with a partisan agenda. Justices Alito and Thomas, whose ethical breaches are evident to all, are still in good standing. Only the sins of the Left offend the GOP almighty.]
“‘But hear me tonight, hear me today. I have this whole thing planned out according to my will.’” [I can believe that it’s all planned by Leonard Leo, the Federalist Society, the Heritage Foundation, and several wealthy families. It’s called Project 2025, and it’s not just dependent on Trump.] “’It is now time for me to restore the fortunes of Zion, the fortunes of those who had it once. You are going to get it back. This is my promise,’ says the Lord of Hosts.’ Give him a shout.”

Clement: “This man that stood in Jerusalem, this man that I saw in the vision, a man that came out of the vision, please hear me, I was standing in my garden, and suddenly the Spirit of the Lord came upon me and removed from my eyes scales. I was praying for America, and I was praying for Israel. Nothing unusual. Suddenly, behind me, behind my back, going in the form of an arrow, were hundreds of thousands of people, and I turned around, and I was stunned at what I saw. This was not just a mere dream but was a vision. So I raised my hands like this, and every one of them raised their hands. I looked back, and they were doing the same thing. I shouted, and they all shouted. They were one. They were one, one body, one body of people. It continued until I realized that in the unity of these, amongst them, stood one that God had set aside to be the leader of this nation.”
[That man shredded our nation and has almost demolished our system of government. Sexual predator Donald Trump was a Russian asset, what they call a “useful idiot” in spy jargon. He did his job well. He wants to be remembered. He wants his signature on the $100 bill; he wants his name on the Kennedy Center; he wants an arch like the one in France; he wants to change the White House grounds; he wants a ballroom; he turned the Oval Office into a gaudy monstrosity. History will remember him as a wrecker of nations.]
“I said, Why am I hearing this so soon? Surely you would show it to me a little bit closer to the time. And the Spirit of God said to me, ‘This man has a humble stature, but he is a genius.’”
[Humble? Are you kidding me!? “A very stable genius,” according to Trump. So smart he would sue anyone who would release a single school record. He has been unofficially diagnosed with a personality disorder called ‘malicious narcissism’ by numerous psychiatrists. He has lived up to that diagnosis in an almost comical way. He is the best at everything. He knows more about everything than anyone. He demands total loyalty to himself from all staffers and employees.]
Clement continues, “And then I heard, ‘Gold.’ I wasn’t sure if this was attached to his name, but He said to me, ‘He will restore the fortunes of this nation because of his brilliance.’”

[The fortune-ate do love Trump. He declared to them, “I just made you richer” when he got his 1917 tax cut through.]
“I could not see his face, because that was not allowed because there was a mist over all the people and he was amongst them."
[This is a lie. Clement knew full well whom he was referencing, but a dollop of mystery makes more of an impression.]
"And the Spirit of God made me look at him, and said, ‘This man will throttle the enemies of Israel. This man will throttle the enemies of the West.’"
[This man kisses up to the enemies of the West. He wanted to take the U.S. out of NATO. With the exception of Israel, he provokes, insults, and has turned his back on our Western allies.]
Clement: “'There are highly embarrassing moments that are
about to occur for many, many politicians in this nation.'"
[Did Clement know that the DNC would be hacked and leaked? The first hacking appears to have occurred in January 2015.]
"'There’ll be a shaking amongst us. There’ll be a shaking amongst the Democrats in the upcoming election, but unsettling for the Republicans.'"
[I’m sure the Apprentice tape was “unsettling,” as was the lawsuit against Trump by porn star Stormy Daniels. But Trump had his archangels William Barr and Mitch McConnell to shield him from all consequences.]
"Why is God doing this? For God says, ‘I am dissatisfied with what emerges from both parties.’"
[GOP emails were also hacked but were not released. The hackers still have them.]
“And there is a nation he showed me [Russia? Iran? China?], itching for a new kind of war with America [cyber warfare?]. ‘They shall shout, Impeach! Impeach, they say. But Nay.’”
[In fact, he was impeached twice by the House, but not convicted by the GOP majority Senate because McConnell wouldn't allow it. Several prophets declared that they would try to impeach Trump, but it wouldn’t work. “The man in God’s hand will never be impeached," intoned Hank Kuneman. Well, maybe their god isn’t up on his civics and doesn’t know that impeachment and conviction are two different processes.]
“'This nation shall come very suddenly, but it shall not come in the time of President Obama. It will come when this new one arrives as my David that I have set aside for this nation. A man of prayer, a man of choice words. Not a man who is verbose, who has verbosity, who speaks too much. They will even say, This man is not speaking enough.’”
[Hilarious! O my stars and biscuits, the mantra with Trump is, even among Republicans, they wish he would stop talking. Once he carried on with a coronavirus briefing for two hours. Or, they wish he would stop tweeting. One morning, he tweeted 60 times by 9:30 am. Clement is way off the rails, but he is revered by the NAR as if he were Elijah.]
“God says, ‘I have set him aside. They shout impeach, but this shall not happen.’ And then God says, ‘Highly embarrassing moments when another Snowden arises.’”
[Julian Assange. Yes, it was embarrassing when the Russians stole the DNC emails and leaked them, but there was nothing criminal in them. Interesting how Clement’s god was never concerned about the June 9, 2016 meeting of Jr. and 5 Russians in which dirt on Hillary was promised but never delivered. That meeting was never leaked to WikiLeaks. It was the evil press and the evil Deep State, the enemies of god who ferreted out the info about that June meeting. Nor was Clement’s god concerned about the Neo-Nazis in the White House flashing their white power hand signals. And all the secret Russia communications and meetings. Must have all been part of the Plan.]
“‘And people will become very afraid, and they’ll say, We have no protection.’ And God says, ‘Am I impressed with your weapons of war? Am I impressed with the strength of a man’s legs? Ha! I have said I will bring this nation to its knees.’ [Russia? Iran?] And God said, ‘You have been humbled, and (illegible) some more, and then you will hear the sound of great victory. For we are the people gathered. We are the people gathered. Where is the sound of unity among my people?’ [Yeah, where is it?]
[Clement leads the audience in a shout of praise. "Israel is forever!" The cheering audience may not like it, but so are the Palestinians. What is their plan for millions of Palestinians who have lived there since before Israel escaped from Egypt? The Evangelicals have no plan, but the war against Hamas looks an awful lot like genocide. Justice for both nations is not a happy sound byte for the average conservative.]
“‘In the next week, this man will begin to emerge. And in the following two weeks, which is a three-week period, he shall slowly come to the fore. For they are saying, how do we kill the giant? How do we kill the giant of debt?'"
[Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill, the Iran war, and the money squandered on errors and vanity have greatly increased the debt. Today, it's $40Tr.]
"'How do we kill the giant of socialism?'"
[Easy. Gut Social Security, Medicaid, and food stamps, then accuse the Dems of being communists, because Trump’s base doesn’t know the difference.]
"'How do we kill the giant of secularism?'"
[Easy. Ignore the constitution and marry the Republican evangelical church to the state, corrupting them both.]
"'I have placed that man amongst you. A humble man, and as Samuel stood before the brothers, and they had rejected David to come because of his age [David was the youngest brother. Trump is the oldest president in history, but don’t worry about age.]…take these words that I am giving you…they are gems…the word ‘gold’…remember that…a man that is amongst them, but is young [huh?] …and these that reject him shall be shocked at how he brings the giant down.’ Hear me please. The giant of debt, the giants have come, the brothers of Goliath, stand in glee watching America.'"
“But God said ‘Watch, I said twenty thousand [2 Sam 18:7?]. Look not to Wall Street. However, observe. They shall say, what is your plan for this giant? And he will take a simple stone…remember the name…[Well, there’s Roger Stone. He’s pretty simple.] …and he will hold it up, and they will laugh at him. But the plan is so brilliant,’ says the Lord, ‘It could only have been given by me.’ Come on!” [Triumphant music.]
[Funny thing about the giant of debt. The Republicans, with the urging of McConnell and Trump, gleefully gave a humungous tax cut to corporations and the wealthy. They shot the national debt into the trillions and actually declared that maybe national indebtedness is not so important after all. Authoritarian governments are laughing at us, and our traditional allies will no longer share important intelligence because they figure Trump will hand it over to the Russians. He compromised an important Russian asset who had to be exfiltrated from Russia to save his life. Russian state TV boasts that Trump is in the pocket of Putin. As for the giant of socialism, apparently Clement’s god hasn’t noticed that Republicans only hate bailouts for the common man. Corporations are quite happy to receive them from the feds. Tea Party Republicans are against public health insurance and public education. They want to profit from everything.]
Clement continues: “‘California, you are dying because of a drought. Watch the sign of rain. But I told you that there would be severe winds from above. And all the states that have been affected by the severe weather have been set up for a shaking of my Spirit and an outpouring of my Spirit. But California, I’m looking at you. Gold, stone, California, the smallest statue.’"
[I have no idea what he is saying about California.]
"God says, ‘Once you recognize the man that I have raised up, pray, for the enemy will do everything in its power to put a witch in the White House.’ Did anybody hear what he just said? ‘For Jezebel [Hillary, of course] has chased away the prophets and even Elijah. Now I have said [to the channel of Elijah], Go back, for this shall be dismantled so there shall be no more corruption in the White House,’ says the Spirit.'"

Clement dramatically turns away while the music increases and the audience cheers. No more corruption in the White House? When at the end of Trump’s first term his close enablers were begging for pardons? Some got one, some didn’t. The Mueller Report made a strong case for 8 instances of obstruction of justice. Trump sent an armed mob to the Capitol building on January 6, 2021 to “hang Mike Pence.” This, folks, is what a false prophet looks like. Oh, he looks and sounds great; he knows the prophetic lingo, the cadence, the musical manipulation, but he is as false as any con artist. Trump pardoned all the Jan. 6 rioters. He has pardoned several fraudsters. Allen Weisselberg, the loyal Chief Financial Officer of the Trump Organization, wound up in prison for fraud. The whole family commits fraud in broad daylight because the Republicans are so compromised, there is nothing they can do about it.
Coming up to the 2020 election, we had three years of corruption, nepotism, and grifting in the White House and cabinet. Several cabinet members were replaced due to corruption, and the new ones were no better than the old. The Secretary of Labor was a District Attorney who helped Jeffrey Epstein, leader of a huge, long-standing child trafficking organization, get a sweetheart deal whereby he was free to pursue his trafficking business. The administration has maliciously overturned every good thing Obama or Biden ever did. They have blown past every norm established to discourage corruption. They tore down the guardrails. They fired every staff member who hoped they could restrain Trump’s worst impulses. They hijacked two Supreme Court seats. Trump mercilessly attacks good people on Twitter. He plays more golf than any other president. He ignores specialists and takes advice from Pentecostals like Clement and Paula White Cain and from Fox News hosts. His spiritual advisors are Christian Nationalist Evangelicals who believe in a 6,000-year-old earth, that the EPA is not biblical, that women should submit to men because their god-given place is the home, that education should be privatized, that the gospel is about prosperity, etc.
Clement’s god doesn’t seem to mind kids in cages or a president who dragged his feet during a global pandemic and who lies every day of his life. He and McConnell and the entire GOP Senate no longer respect the constitutional separation of powers. The Senate has been handing its sovereignty over to Trump because he is making them rich, and they don’t want him tweeting mean things about them. His first AG, William Barr, believes and has written about the need for a “unitary executive” who cannot be investigated or indicted while in office. Trump's present AG answers to Trump to exalt and shield him from discovery. It is ironic that when Trump lost the election and wanted to assert unitary power to just overturn the result and stay in power, Barr had had enough and resigned because what was afoot in the White House was so illegal and wrong, it was even too much for him. Barr knew that Donald could seduce people into things that would take them to prison.
These prophecies could have been written ahead of time by people who have enough GOP insider contacts…Roger Stone, Assange, Trump Jr., Jared Kushner, some pro-Trump FBI contact, or some Russian connection. Russia could have been anonymously filtering information to Clement and others.
Maybe they think if they "declare" a thing, it will happen. But it doesn't. Another cherished prophetess, Kat Kerr, promised on a video before the 2016 election that there would be 8 years of Trump, 8 years of his VP, and 8 years of that president's VP. Twenty-four years of Republican rule, she assured us. Well, Trump's first VP had to hide on J6 because Trump tweeted that he wouldn't overturn the election. The mob chanted "hang Mike Pence." Clement didn't mention that. Maybe his jesus didn't care.
The irony about the great slander against Obama and Biden is that they truly were humble, brilliant men of strong academic credentials. They didn’t brag about their accomplishments. They cared about the health and well-being of the people, about the environment, the air and water, the safety of kids in school, and the protocols of foreign policy. The Elijah List prophets said that when Trump won in 2016, a “pharaoh spirit” was broken over DC. But who is the real pharaoh? Trump wants to be a king, and that doesn’t bother the Evangelicals at all.
There is something in the Bible called blaspheming the Holy Spirit. People in the Old Testament and New Testament dropped dead for doing just that. Calling yourself a channel of Elijah, referencing the Holy Spirit over and over, but not being able to discern between the inspiration of God and the inspiration of Murdoch media puts one in a really dark place.
Kim Clement died thirteen days after Trump was elected. The Evangelicals said that God took Elijah home because his work was done. In my opinion, Clement was no Elijah, and the Evangelicals may have helped to elect the Antichrist.
